Singer Meghan Trainor buys Bing Crosby’s carriage house in Toluca Lake

She’s all about that space.

Singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor has purchased a home in Toluca Lake for $4.9 million in a deal completed outside the Multiple Listing Service.

Originally singer Bing Crosby’s carriage house, the one-acre estate was previously owned by actors Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green. The on-again, off-again couple sold the property in December for $2.6 millionin another deal consummated off-market.

Reached by a curving drive, the single-story home was recently renovated by Todd DeMann and David Kramer of Paradigm Developers and evokes a modern farmhouse with its metal-clad roof and white-hued exterior.

The renovated single-story sits on an acre and has a swimming pool and a guest house. (Rani Sikolsky)

Inside, the open floor plan has been refreshed with lightly painted beams, wrought-iron chandeliers and wide-plank wood floors. Vibrant marble and a herringbone backsplash lend a contemporary look to the center-island kitchen.

There are four bedrooms and six bathrooms in more than 6,700 square feet of living space.

Century-old oaks and olive trees dot grounds that include a guest house and swimming pool and spa.

Craig Strong of John Aaroe Group and Kramer, also an agent with Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, assisted the seller in the deal. Wayne Saks of Rodeo Realty represented Trainor.

Trainor, 22, released the studio album “Title” in 2015 and “Thank You” this year. Among her hits are “All About That Bass,” “Lips Are Movin” and “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.”

She won a Grammy for best new artist this year.
